Augustine Flores has served with J Bar J Youth Services since 2010, bringing more than 25 years of dedicated experience in the juvenile justice field. In his role as Chief Safety Officer, Augustine draws on a wealth of knowledge gained from working with the Oregon Youth Authority, Deschutes County Juvenile department, Youth Challenge Program, juvenile boot camps, residential facilities, and stabilization programs. His career has been devoted to supporting at-risk youth and ensuring safe, structured environments where growth and change can take place.

At the age of 19, Augustine enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the discipline, leadership, and commitment to service that continue to guide his professional life today. Following his military service, he transitioned into juvenile justice, where he found his calling in working with young people and fostering safer communities.

Augustine holds a degree in Criminal Justice along with studies in Mortuary Science. His unique combination of military experience, education, and decades of professional service make him a trusted leader within J Bar J Youth Services and a vital advocate for the safety and well-being of the youth and staff he supports.
